Gifted Life Youth Empowerment holds an annual arts institute where sessions are conducted twice a year, spring and summer. These programs are designed for youth and young adults, ages 7-18. We offer weekly classes in five areas: dance, spoken word, theatre, music and mime. Classes meet for approximately four hours per week taught by our volunteer staff and professionals who donate their time and efforts.
During the institute we provide students with a complimentary, healthy, balanced breakfast and lunch. After every institute we hold a presentation for the youth to share their gifts and everything they have learned with the community. All the services we offer are free of charge and anyone who desires to participate is welcome. 2019 "They're Programming Us" Teen Summit Friday, August 2 & Saturday, August 3 This 2 day Teen Summit will equip youth ages 12 to 19 with the tools to recognize the devices used to desensitize them to believing that the majority is always right.
